She graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts in December of 2018, with majors in Marketing and Global Perspectives and a minor in Information Design and Corporate Communications.
She has been involved in the nonprofit and government sectors for years; her internship experiences include Senator Brian P. Stack's district office, the Boston Ballet, the New England Aquarium, and Mercury Public Affairs. Outside of her work experiences, she has held leadership positions within her university's Association of Latino Professionals for America chapter. Ms. Vasquez was a member of Bentley's Black United Body and volunteered her time with both the Bentley University Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center and Bentley's MOSAIC experience. She is currently on the marketing and social media board committees for the New Jersey chapter of Prospanica.
Ms. Vasquez's most important career goal is improving equality of opportunity for as many people as she can, hoping to do this through her current work at the UCBOE and after furthering her education with graduate school. Fostering diversity and inclusion in students' academic careers and beyond is one of the key ways she believes she can help students maximize their potential.
