The Union City School District would like to congratulate our very own William Shapiro, the Director of Coaching for Union City Soccer Club on all his accomplishments. We wish him continued success. The young athletes of our City are lucky to have someone like him.

Jaivaneese Johnson is a Union City High School Senior. She is an aspiring singer and dreams of being on a Broadway stage one day. Jaivaneese entered an international competition called "Broadway World Next on Stage". She is representing Union City as the only nominee from Hudson County in the High School division among about 200 nominees.

The Union City School District salutes the men and women who have served in America’s Armed Forces and thank them for their service and sacrifice. Please join Superintendent of Schools Mrs. Silvia Abbato in sending a heartfelt "Thank You" to all of our veterans.

The Union City Young Marines proudly participated in both the Dominican Parade and the Hispanic Day Parade to celebrate and support Hispanic Heritage Month. Our members marched to honor the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of the Hispanic community, showcasing our commitment to community unity and cultural appreciation.
